I helped write out the process of our project. We envisioned a process wall made of wood which would be laser cut with blurbs of what we did. So first we had to think about what we did to get our exhibition product, also what we learned about perspective and critical lenses. At the same time think about what we did in Biology and try to tie it all together.
Reflection
Coming out of this project, I have a new and deeper meaning for the word perspective. It means different view points from different people on something. You can have your perspective based on many different lenses. So I have come to understand I will be looked at through many perspectives, I have gotten more insight about this through the "Unfair Project". I have examined the things people have judged me for and I have excepted it. It only matters how I see myself because I'm the only person who knows exactly who I am. I have not only discovered peoples perspective on me but also about others. I have learned to look at people through my own perspective not tainted thoughts society gives us. Just because society puts labels on people does not mean they are actually like that. Also by learning about different critical lenses, I can now identify lenses in my daily reading. In science you have to look through many perspectives. Just like the microscopes. From what our eye vision can see vs. how it looks close up. Just like in the real world, how we see things now as teenagers vs. how we might see things differently as adults.
