Eco-System and Compost bin Progress Blog
Deanna actually had the idea of making the containers out of recycled wood. We originally wanted to just find random objects that could hold a plant. But there was scraps of wood laying around that was perfect for us. So with that wood, a wood cutter and wood glue , we got these great quality boxes. Our goal was to have everything be recycled from previous projects. So the wood was recycled, the plants were recycled, and the dirt and pebbles were extras from Deanna's previous project.

We wanted to do something hand written, however Deanna found out how to do it online and it looked pretty neat. We want it to be helpful to our audience, so they know how to take care of a terrarium. Deanna and I also talked about how we are going to display our hard work with the terrariums. We finally decided on a trifold. I'm planning on purchasing the materials this week so we can start working on it next week. We want to display an actual terrarium at exhibition so we need to find out where our materials are going to come from.
