In engineering class we have been working with our producers to get our part of the project done. What works well for me is the fact that we all are accountable for ourselves. If we slack off or miss school we have to make up the money somehow. The amount of money we make reflects on our integrity and effort; so we need to make sure we make ends meet. One issue with this project would be the time we have with each other. Some people from the other class work for the producers in my class so there is not much time we can work together due to different schedules. Maybe we could dedicate one day for our classes to merge together so we can work as a team.
When I am put in a distracting situation; as a leader I feel obligated to lead my classmates back on track. And remove myself from situations like these. In humanities we have been learning the impact that people in power have on us little people. I have heard the phrase used many times, "Money talks". When we notice people of status and class we tend to listen to them because they become more credible somehow. Just like how news sources and news reporters deliver information to us; we should be able to believe them. However this is not always the case; media lies. They follow news stories and sometimes report bias or opinions and interpret it back to us.
